Un-Official Offical Queue Email Thread

You didn't make that very clear, you just said my statement wasn't true, which didn't make a lot of sense since I was only talking about cards they are actively shipping lol

Anyhow, the same will be true for you I guess when they finally get stock of those in when they are released, just hang tight buddy.
yes i forgot to mention "not for everyone" my mistake

There's no point getting angry at customer service, a global pandemic is sure to slow down supply, I feel like the suppliers should be questioned more. We need info on production from these companies.

I was mostly talking to myself there, between being nearly 1000 places in the queue back than my order time justifies, and getting dropped in a phone hold void for 90 minutes before hanging up and actually getting in the correct system, I was feeling some internal rage that I needed to calm before I got though to CS. Beause it isn't their fault, its a computer system problem, and they will (and now they are aware of it assure me they are) sorting it.

So if we are optimist and say they can fulfil what 100 cards in a week, that would be 13 weeks for me.

Is that still too optimistic?

Only time will tell. Though @Gibbo has said that

Less than 50 is small, more than 50 is average, more than 100 is big and more than 1000 is a dream.

which means that based on their past experience 100 is a big delivery (but I'd hope the manufactures are aiming for big since they now know they have the orders, depends how fast the factories can work though).

For me with the MSI Trio, we know 5 on the 18th, and 30 on the 29th... hopefully it will keep picking up, because 30 every 10+ days will take forever.

Is it really that low? :(

I expect it will be slow for a while then shipments will increase in the hundreds as productions ramps up.

Judging by MSI factory capability (Asus is likely not much different) they can make 400-500k cards per month. All, combined. Shipping is always few weeks too (ships are slow) and all of that has to be divided amongst all countries and shops or at least wholesalers. Ergo, I wouldn't count on any big deliveries anytime soon, in OCUK. Likely just small ones now and then. Unless they have some special deal with Asus.

Welp. I will be waiting. Ordered on 17th at 16:46

Some of you have long lead times, so I would suggest you tell them to put your packet of Haribos in with mine when it comes... one doesn't want you eating sweeties potentially past their sell by date.

Seriously........... one hopes production ramps up and we all have them this side of Christmas..

If you took out the extra damage insurance like I did, you will find it started running from the 18th, check your certificate, reply to the company email as I did and they have said they will adjust the start date upon reciept of a shipping order etc from OCuk.

Ordered the TUF non OC version on the afternoon the 20th and i am que position 1288

The unofficial calculator put me at about 2500, so am happy this has pretty much halved, am optimistic that the AMD launch will attract some in this que and cause more cancelations for this card.

Placed several orders with different companies on 17th, none went through, gave up trying to order around 10pm, next day mailed them to make sure none had gone through. Ordered TUF standard around 2pm 18th from OC and I'm 1005 in the que. Keeping my order on but keeping em peeled.....

I'm in position 635 for a Asus TUF non OC.

I'd love to know the rate at which they are coming in, if it's 10 a week then I might be waiting a while.

I am working on a python script so you can put list of dates/queue positions to get a rough estimate of shipping (like how the queue estimator works).

In terms of how many are coming in. If they're indeed updating with new queue positions after each shipment, you should ideally get a worst case estimate. As shipments are supposed to be getting larger throughout October.
