Un-Official Offical Queue Email Thread

I keep browsing the net once a day looking for any information to do with EVGA cards, but there's a whole fat load of nothing concrete and just a bunch of hearsay. So being 247 in a queue and not much potential for any 3080s coming to England doesn't inspire much hope. I just got 2 brand new LG27GL850-B's to replace the two terrible monitors I had before (I bought both of those from OCUK and they were super great with it). Or to be more precise, I bought 1 to replace an old LG E2442 I had, and I liked it so much I replaced my Benq XL2730 as well. I just need the card to go with it. I want that 144 fps at 1440p damnit. My Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce OC can't do that.

In the same boat here, minus a monitor, and with a 970 instead of a 1070!

MSI trio x 3080
Ordered at 16:58

Unofficial calculator said 831

Email says I’m actually 577.

So 2021 at this rate.

Now that is interesting as I ordered mine at 16:58 also which im 570 in the queue.

That means there was at least 7 orders within a single minute at the time.

Right so I guess this time next week when they update the queue you all will get a fair idea of how many cards they are receiving and shipping out per week.

ordered the EVGA XC3 Black on 17th around 15:20 or so and im queue position 171

i might cancel it tho as the XC3 hasn't got the best results when it comes to thermals.. only picked it as its going in an Ncase M1 so might just try for a FE instead

whoever is 172 you can have my spot ;)

Yeah that's quite feasable, there was probably more to be honest.

Hope MSI get production moving faster, would like to see mine this if possible.

Thank you for your pre-order for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle OC 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card on order

You are currently in queue position 554. Ordered 17 Sep 2020 15:32:00. 2021 delivery date??

Yes hopefully. If OCUK can get almost 100 cards per week by the end of October then were in with a chance of getting the cards by Christmas.

Inno3D 3080 Twin X2 OC, official position 22. Not bad for a 16:53 order time (spent a full three hours fighting to get it to process!), definitely a less popular card, although I can see why people are wary about the smaller cooler.
Got an Inno3D 3080 x3 Ordered at 16:47 and offical queue is 18th, think going for the less popular option should pay some dividens - hopefully anyways, no idea on when these things are even arriving. See some arriving in Germany ect.

Inno3D 3080 Twin X2 OC
Ordered at 17:35
Unofficial queue: 50
OC email: 34

My main question is when stock arrives will it be more than 34 so I receive my card in the first shipment? Or will they ship 25 cards at a time and I will have to wait another month for shipping, really wanna get my hands on this in October

I made and order last night, how exactly are you guys working out your queu number ?
They emailed out to everyone yesterday.

Notably the header at the top of my email said 29th September, so I wonder if they generated them after the last batch of cards they shipped out on Tuesday but didn't send them out immediately.

You'll likely have to wait till the next batch of your card ships out, or they trigger another general sending.

It does sound like they will keep people updated

"Please keep checking your emails, we will send an update after each shipment with your new position."

That makes sense, thank you.

Not too sure I give much credence to the queue number OC is reporting. I only ordered my 3090 Strix on Thursday and was given a queue number of 122. Yet someone in the forums who ordered when it came out had a higher number than me. Now clearly there's people who'll say they bought a 3090 when in fact it's a 3080, but even so, when you consider all the resellers, all the AIB's, the custom PC market and the small use case for the 3090, the numbers don't stack up.
