I have used some Jeyes Fluid, on my drains outside at the back of the house. The problem now is that I can smell the odor in my house and in my kitchen. I can even smell it on some of my clothes.

I have used buckets of water down the drains to flush it, but I can still smell the product. What else can I do as its quite worrying for me :(

The only solution I can think of is pouring waste down the sink/using all appliances hooked up to the drainage.

Like, dissolve a whole chicken in your sink or something and let that cover it up :p

Well you mention that you have flushed it with water, make sure it really is plenty of water. You could pour some bleach down the drains to neutralise the smell or buy a bog standard floral or pine disinfectant down there to give a more pleasant aroma.

Cheers, sounds like a good plan. I was thinking about another disinfectant, but would the 2 of them together cause an issue, or with the bleach???

I want to sort this as quick a possible as I have evey window in the house open, and its bloody freezing

Check your drains aren't blocked up, our downstairs toilet has backed up a couple of times and sucked up green algae into the bowl. Not horrible smell but a little unpleasent.

you could buy a MASSIVE bottle of Value Bleach and chuck that down there, along with boiling hot water.

As said before, check drain isn't blocked

jayes fulid does leave a smell for a while after, by tonight it will be gone.

How do you know that?

I have had the smell for 6 days now :(

There is standing water at a certain level, but when I pour the water down it still stays at that same level. So that would indicate the drain is not blocked :)

Then tomorrow, i'll pop round and wipe that odur out! i'll sink a bomb, that could wipe the town out. :)

Personally I would go for the bleach option, it is possible that as soon as the bleach comes into contact with the Jeyes fluid it could cause a small explosion. I wouldn't worry about it too much if your house is built from brick. The safest way of doing it would be to suspend the bleach above the drain then fire at it from some distance with an air rifle, a few sand bags around you should be adequate.

Only joking:D But seriously, if you have flushed plenty of water down there already you have nothing to worry about by using some bleach.

get a hose and spray liberally around the drain you chucked it down.
Sounds like there could be some concentrate caught somewhere that didn't get flushed.
Or if you couldn't be arsed just wait a couple of weeks and it'll go.

ok me 2pence worth

go tesco (or any other supermarket) buy some pegs and put one on your nose then the smell will do

If u dont want the pain off that

have u tryed shoving a hosepipe down the drain?? (or some thing like)
as ive been thinking could be a little block somewhere (might be idea to check manhole cover)

just only thing i can think of is a pos block somewhere

Or its just dam smelling stuff you bought

The stuff is well minging, and even gets through my cold. I am gonna get a big massive industrial rubber glover and get my arm in the drain and see if there is any blockage. I am 90% sure there is not blockage as the water level always stays the same, even after flushing the Drains with lods of water.
