That’s Nathan Drake rendered in full 1080p glory, using the power of our PS4 engine. All footage you see in the trailer was captured completely in engine. We’re targeting 60fps for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and as you can see, the visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights. In fact, thanks to the power of PS4, right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.

The next generation of Nathan Drake is going to be very real and will explore what it means when Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. He will embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. It’s his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is available for pre-order right now. Stay tuned — we’ll have more information in the coming months.

Releasing 2015 according to the video.

This will be amazing, I just know it.

As a huge uncharted fan, I'm a little bit let down with the graphics, very similar to the remastered ones on the PS4 currently (maybe they did too good of a job?) or it's just reduced for multiplayer.

Not a big concern, as I'm all in for the story / single player. I much preferred the last of us's tense methodical gameplay, this felt a little bit "AHHHH CHARGE" for me.

Blah blah not representative of final product beta graphics blah blah

That's a lovely shot. I haven't got there, so kinda wish I hadn't seen it(mark location spoilers by saying the level or something maybe?), but yea, it's quite nice.

Also, the PS4 takes full-res screenshots so long as you have it set properly. I have mine taking 1920x1080 captures in lossless PNG format. And then instead of 'sharing' them, which results in compression, I transfer them via USB drive to my PC where I can use them in their full glory(and also so I can delete them from my PS4 where they take up a bunch of space with how many I take). Then I convert them to 97% quality JPEG's via Faststone Image Viewer and I save about 70% file space while being *essentially* lossless(only ever hurts really dark images where it shows extra banding).

End result is this(I cant imagine this is gonna be considered a location spoiler!):

Basically indistinguishable from what it looks like on the PS4 and less than 1MB file size.

Also helps a bunch to upload to a site that doesn't compress images.

Why have you posted a pic of your bathroom dude?
