Just cause 2 what a fantastic engine this game has it really is a little gem of a game.
What other games don't get the recognition they deserve?

Just Cause 2 is amazing, why do you think it is underrated? Did it get bad reviews? I always thought it got the attention it needed tbh.

EDIT: quick look and most places it gets 4 out of 5 stars not sure how this game is underrated?

Maybe what I meant was low key I never really hard much about it but then again I might have been living under a rock.

Apparently, JC2 has sold over 6 million copies since release (all platforms). It has been at a bargain bucket price since forever though

-Kane & Lynch: Some nice set pieces, team orders etc. Has quite a cinematic feel.
-MOH:Pacific Assault: Good atmosphere (especially at Pearl Harbour), squad based, slick presentation
-Medal of Honour (2010): Surprised to see the reception this got, it has some truly epic set pieces such as falling back to defend an LZ. The sort of massive rush I haven't felt since the original Call of Duty.
-Deus Ex:IW: Cops a lot of flak for not being as good as Deus Ex, but then what is? Judged on merit it is still a very good game IMO - being a disappointment doesn't make it bad - if it I didn't have such a huge backlog I'd love to replay it someday.
-C&C3: Classic RTS gameplay brought a bit up to date, my style of game.
-Chaser: Big game with over 30 levels, good variety of weapons, nice special effects, decent amount of cutscenes
-C&C Renegade: A bit 'clunky' but it has a fantastic array of weapons right up there with anything from the past 10 years and varied environments - it actually does the fundmentals of a FPS fairly well
-Tribes Vengeance: Interesting combat mechanics with the jetpacks
-NFS Porsche 2000: Possibly the best in the series, very nice driving, good damage model etc

Little Big Adventure - Great music, nice graphics for the time that still hold up nicely, full of charm and feels like it was made by a team that loved what they were doing.

The multiplayer mod was released a few weeks ago. I'll admit there isnt much to do other than mess around, but I'm sure some other modders will add some fun game modes given time. Linky: http://www.jc-mp.com/

A great big +1 to this. it was one of my favourite games on the PS1, and it is definitly the best in the NFS series. its a shame they stuck with the whole underground thing after that fantastic game

It did atleast try to push the boat out, if it wasn't for being a bit too clunky and the "netcode" having some serious issues the online would have been quite good.
