underated games.

Just Cause 2 was amazingly overlooked when it first came out. Word of mouth, subsequent sales and the multiplayer mod have helped turn that around. Probably the most fun I have had in a game tbh.
 
Unepic - I'm absolutely addicted to this little gem

Gunpoint - played this to completion after a steam sale purchase

Infestation Survival Stories (previously named Warz) -gets constant abuse from reviewers and did have a disastrous launch on Steam but just keeps getting better and better I've put over 200 hours into this hidden gem - if you have some online friends this game is really fun. The new vehicles and map are very good.

Two Worlds 1 and 2 - both totally different games but both fantastic RPG's that I have put far too many hours into. Both received poor reviews that I disagree with.

Risen 1 - played this to completion and thoroughly enjoyed it (i have yet to try Risen 2)

I might give Just Cause 2 another go as I couldn't get into it previously but perhaps didn't get far enough in (I loved the first one on the 360).

I fully agree that Two Worlds 2 was a lot of fun with some great quests.
Also Divinty 2 DC another excellent RPG lite

atm im playing sniper elite v2 and liking it quite a lot, it only scored 66/100 so for me thats pretty under rated

Alpha Protocol is definitely deserving. Was very impressed with that game - one of my best sale purchases.

Assassin's Creed 3 also seemed much better than everyone had said. I think the problem is that the best parts require you to really, really persevere through a lot of dullness.
 
i played a game a few years ago called Oni, it was like an anime shooter really had such a great time playing that game.

And best of all it came from a bargain bin in PC World for about a fiver :p

Red Faction: Guerrilla - No other game offers destruction physics like in this one. Other than the ground everything can be destroyed. Shame it's kinda scraped under the carpet and gets called "GTA on Mars". People don't seem to give it a chance and give up on it too early.

Project Nomads - A unique game that involves flying islands. You start with a bare piece of land and collect artifacts to build up a flying base as you progress.

C&C Renegade: This game has a special place for me as it sparked my interest in game modding. Perhaps if EA hadn't interfered with it's development it would've had a better legacy.
 
Another vote for NfS Porsche 2000. I consider it to be the first game with modern graphics that I owned on PC. See through windows man! The racing physics and damage were excellent and it had a nice 'tone' too. Wish I still I had my copy :(
