Underperforming 3090?

that graphics score is bad, slower than my old 2080ti

since the graphics test there is gpu bound there is something wrong with your graphics card - possible temp throttling or power limit, I suspect it's the temps
the temperatures on afterburner when gaming is at like 70-80 average
i set up afterburner to increase the fan speed when it hits certain temperatures so maybe there is a power limit somewhere that i need to change

As per Hakanese's suggestion - check if your GPU is on x8 or x16 mode, GPUZ software should show it - its also in the BIOS (and make sure your GPU is in the top pcie slot)

Your Gpu temp also seems on the high side at 81deg for a stock GPU... my strix runs at 63deg when stock in timespy and i have less than optimal cooling going to it with fans blowing through a 60mm rad before the air gets to gpu https://www.3dmark.com/spy/14877544

What's your cooling setup like and what % do you normally run the fans at or is that all stock ?

Card defiantly seems to run on the hotside and have some issue so personally i would be RMAing it for a replacement or money back and get an FE when they come in stock

You're being thermally throttled. Gpu shouldnt get an 80deg+ avg in timespy. Are all fans spinning?

Odd that you had 19k 1st time, that's on par for stock 3090. You're second run at 15k is throttling due to temp.

Edit: Just read you said you're water cooling, you've put a block on it? Did you block it after the 19k run?

all the fans are spinning

Set the gpu fan to stay low down until 50C set that to 40% then at 60C set it to 60%, at 70C have it at 80% then at 80C 100%
Edit: the card's being water cooled?

imagine he has an AIO for the cpu and doesn't know which make with the gpu being air cooled or i would hope that's the case as if the gpu was sitting at 81 on water then yeah serious issues here :D

the 19k was a second try and the 14k was a few days ago

the 19k score is kind of where i would expect it to land all stock and no xmp but the 14k is shockingly bad ... the main difference between the 2 runs is the gpu score alone which is 19k on 1 run ( perfect ) and on the 2nd its 15k ( crap ) .. what have you changed between the runs if anything ?

Op if you have time later, can you get some shots of your Afterburner settings, with the clock and mem speed, and the power sliders, and if you can a shot of your Gpu-Z sensor readings during a run of timespy.
Would help us out here with helping you fix your problem

Hello everyone! I Think im similiar issue. I have a 3090 Strix OC and in Warzone im getting roughly flucuates between 100-130FPS. I don't think this is right? I have tried to collate as much information as possible for anyone who could help me troubleshoot this issue:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X – Latest Chipset installed
ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Motherboard – Latest BIOS version
ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB ROG Strix GAMING OC
Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4
DRAM 3600MHz C18 – D.O.C.P Enabled
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB on M2 motherboard slot 1
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB on M2 motherboard slot 2
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB on PCI-E lane 3 (Found GPU was only running in x8 mode if this M2 was plugged into lane 2).
Corsair RM850x PSU
Screen: 34GN850 34" Resolution: 3440X1440 @144Hz
X6 Corsair ML120 RGB Pro Case fans
iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler + x6 Fans in push/pull
Windows 10 Pro 64bit OS

I used MSI Afterburner and GPU-Z to log all stats while playing warzone. I have also took screenshots of parts of my Mobo BIOS aswell as the game settings. See here:

Any help would be appreciated.
