Unemployed 'must learn English'

It is about bloody time!

I came across a Pakistani family the other day - the mother has been in this country for 32 years - she still does not speak English - yet she draws benefits! She is insulting our country by not learning the language! The government has MY permission to kick her arse!!!

If you move to a foreign country - you have a moral obligation to "EMBRACE THE CULTURE, EMBRACE THE LAWS, EMBRACE THE LANGUAGE, EMBRACE THE GOVERNMENT and EMBRACE THE LAND AS YOUR HOME" of that country - otherwise go the ****** home!!

Now the above is NOT a racist or bigoted statement - it is common sense - and our government should EMBRACE the "EMBRACE POLICY" as a part of the requirements for immigration into the UK.

THE UK HAS LOST ITS OWN IDENTITY - ALL OF ITS TRADITIONS ARE BEING ERODED BECAUSE OF PC'NESS and the lack of respect given to her by the immigrants that pour into her each day.

You want to move to a new country and make it your home? Then RESPECT that country, RESPECT its peoples, RESPECT its laws, RESPECT its traditions and culture, RESPECT its religions....AND LEARN TO SPEAK THE LANGUAGE!

WHEW! getting a bit worked up here!! sorry if I am overly passionate about the subject.

The title does say unemployed, so not everyone, was she a housewife maybe?

I know the government stops some benefits if they are not in training on certain programs but this is a positive move to get people into jobs but now it is how they are going to go about doing it. They have invested big before and the system got severely abused, it will be interesting to see what they have in store to do this.

Though I am alarmed at:

lol nerr fraid im english, which means il be the sucker whos paying for the non english people to sleep in till midday every day and watch TV

Well, yes, but also the one who founded the RESPECT party. He actually had some quite sensible things to say, but went about them in a foolhardy, sensationalist way. Oh well.
 
An interesting debate we have here! I totally agree with what the goverment is proposing but as has already been said above, I too hate those "true brits" (those born on these shores) that just sponge and loaf the same as a lot of the non-English speaking immigrants do.
