Im doing applied cmp at UEA 1st year
my problem is this...im quite litterally scraping by with the course, failing a module last semester and struggling like nobodies business this semester, yes i know unis meant to be tough, but no matter what i do i cant get my head round any of the work
my dilema, should i carry on scraping through or just cut my losses and accept i am really not uni material/need to rething where my abilities actually lay, if any at all even exist.
at the end of the day this is uni, its costing me money, and i dont see much point being here if i am really not upto standard...hell, i was very short of the grade requirements to even get here which said a lot.
so what do you guys think? im going home at the weekend but really dont want to speak to mum about it as it is her birthday this weekend, and definately dont want to bring it up with dad as he would probably disown me
personally im thinking jacking it in and accepting life as it is and see where job experience takes me...
