Uni halls

Even if i lived 15 minutes away from Halls, i'd want to get the full 'University experience' and stay in Halls but that's just the type of person i am. :)

Same.

My brother doesn't want to live in halls next year, I will convince him otherwise though. Its worth it for the experience.

I'm off to my first year in October. Looking forward to being skint and miles from home and smahed out of my face and all the other fun stuff.

Is Cornwall any fun?

Defo live in halls, it suits most people as you get to mix with a large variety of people and pick your friends. Theres also always something going on, which is great fun!

Miss being back in halls now :(

I've made most of my closest friends through living with them at University. There's no way I would ever have anything like the same experience if I'd been living away. If you're going to university just for the education and don't really want to meet anyone new, or if you're the sort of person who can make friends with people even if you only see them very briefly, then by all means live at home.

Everyone is forgetting he is going to be doing a single final year. It's different to first and second year. It wont be like starting as a fresher.

I'm moving out in my last year (next year) and I live 30 mins from Uni. Probably should have done it in the first year but oh well. Should be fun.

Well, it is my first year at the university. I will be doing 2 years though.

Edit: Is it more difficult moving in when I'm in my third year? My course isn't really that demanding.

:)

Okay... I'm sorry I keep bumping this topic and I'll leave it be soon :p

When should I be applying for accommodation? Do I wait until I get an offer from the University or should I be doing it when I am applying?

I think uni's differ. The uni i'm going to lets you apply if you have an unconditional, yet it you have a conditional you can't apply until you have the grades.
