Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

It's a strange one! do you have a spare HDD that you can try a fresh installation of windows on? If you've exhausted every other avenue.

Yes I do but have to do it later. thanks for helping anyways.

When you do the above just have your monitor connected to one of the green DVI outputs

no mate Kaapstad

In my main rig I have 2 gtx 690s but what works for 2 works the same for 1 gtx 690, I often turn one slot off for benchmarking and run on one gtx 690.

You need to run @1920 x 1080 resolution
Also if you press F12 over the cobbles you will get a screen shot in "your files"/Heaven/screenshots/*.tga
Or you can use FRAPS to take a screenshot.

wow this version is a lot more demanding?! my scores have halved
looks nicer now anyway

Yes its a lot more demanding
Remember to take your screenshot over the cobbles for it to count.:)

i5 3570k @ 4.00Ghz
7970 GHZ @ 1100/1500 (stock)

That's still pretty poor isn't it??? Other 7970's seem way above me..

Actually its not bad at all, all the other 7970s are overclocked quite a bit

Been away Kaapstad. You can't see SLI with just 1 card. You have to have 2 690's . I know theirs 2 GPU's on the it. It shows both cores running, but to see SLI you need 2 cards. I've been doing a little searching on this matter.
I did heaven and got 60 to 73 FPS on this test. I would put it up, but my print screen isn't working again. I'll put up a pic later when I can.

Here is a run I just did with a single GTX 690 @stock CPU @4.0

If you are getting the same or better then problem solved

This is what I get with NCP using one card (the PCI-E slot for the other card is turned off so PC does not even know its there).

If you were to click Disable multi-GPU mode, thats where you disable sli.

How does your score compare to the one I posted above.

The scores about the same. So I guess it's ok then. I'm happy with that score. It's more then double of what a 7970 would do. After all that drama last night trying to get SLI working I missed all the Titan news? So what's happened with Titan? How much is it and is it more powerful then a gtx 690? Anyways thanks for at least trying to help me yesterday even though it doesn't even need SLI;) thanks mate:D

This is what Gibbo posted yesterday

Hi there

Right time now I can speak!

Titan is GK110.
It has 2668 Cores.
6GB of GDDR5 RAM.
Cost to customer with VAT shall be £830-£900 depending on availability.

In short the specs floating about are correct and the pricing I've just put above.

We have Asus, Gigabyte and EVGA on the way.

Pre-orders shall be available on website 2pm Thursday.

There will be reviews on Thursday, I expect they will have a heavy emphasis on multi monitor resolutions where the Titan will be strong. I think they will downplay single monitor gaming where the Titan is weak compared to a GTX 690 or 2 x GTX 680s/HD7970s

Arh crap... I'll have to do it again later this evening day... Third time's the charm right ? :p
I wonder how much difference 120p do ? (1200p vs 1080p).

Thanks for that Kaapstad:)

Kaapstad, sorry but I got it wrong. My GPU's are KFA2 EX OC which I believe run at 1006MHz. Sorry for the confusion. Also my 2nd slot is only running at 8x which probably explains a bit of a lower score...?

No probs I will change it now.

Edit your score looks fine for 1006/1502

PCI-E 2 or 3 @x8 does not make much difference to performance.
