Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

Thanks LtMatt, increased to 20% Power Limit, used 1100 & 1500 and got a 909 result. Seems more like it. Not sure how stable it is though, but at least I know its in the right ball park :D

Thanks

The preset you used often gives strange results
Could you re run using

Mode: 1680 x 1050 8xAA Fullscreen
Preset: Custom
Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: Extreme

Yeah i noticed as soon as i posted that it ran in windowed mode.

Here's my results as per your instructions. My CPU is now OC'd to 4.4 as well.

Your score does look a little bit low by about 10%

You need to post in your other thread more info about your system like what drivers you are using, is the card overclocked, which model and the rest of your system specs.

[Edit]

Tried OC'ing the card to 1100/1500 as shown below.

Still seems low for 1680x1050?

At the clocks you have just run your card looks to be running ok

Here is another HD 7970 using the same clocks as you but running 1920 x 1080

Score 918, GPU 760 @1190/1850, CPU FX6300 @4.0, los
Score 917, GPU 780m @1150/1500, CPU 4700MQ @3.2, JamesM
Score 916, GPU 670 @1200/1830, CPU 2500k @4.5, [TW]Fox
Score 916, GPU 7970 @1100/1500, CPU 3570k @4.0, chrisgt
Score 915, GPU 7950 @1100/1575, CPU Phenom 955 @3.8, Sleeve
Score 912, GPU 670 @1090/1727, CPU i5 760 @4.0, Guest2
Score 909, GPU 7950 @1100/1500, CPU 2700k @4.5, Jed Shields

If you adjust for the difference in resolutions you are both scoring about the same.:)

I managed to crack on with the cpu and have it 4.8 stable but cant think why it did not help with the score very much if at all

Heaven 4 is very heavy on graphics which keeps the fps down and gives the CPU a lot less work to do. If you run Valley things are the other way round and you can get very high fps which puts a lot of demand on the CPU. When using 3 or more Titans on Valley the demands on the CPU are so high it can not cope and there is a huge bottleneck.

4.8 is more than enough for one card but you should see more benefit when running both cards.

Knowing me prolly got rules wrong.

Can't get the cards to go much further than that in Tri SLi. Maybe a lil bit on the memory. Voltage doesn't seem to help (at limited 1.2v).

Need water to get the most out of these things. Note this is my 24/7 clocks, could probably push the CPU up but Heaven isn't very CPU limited for some reason.

Nice score.:)

And on the scoreboard.:)
