The above is quite normal and probably nothing to do with your cards, as the rest of the PC gets warmed up it becomes less efficient which reduces the score slightly. If you are really going for it, the best way to do it is to work out in advance what settings to use, turn on PC from cold and go for it.

That is not a bad result, when overclocked the 290s are good for at least another 20%.
Is this normal fps drop?
You really need to use 8xAA so we can compare but there are some places where the bench has some big fps drops.
If you want to go on the scoreboard, don't forget the in bench screenshot please.
If you want to go on the scoreboard, could you post the in bench screenshot and also your GPU and CPU clocks please.
Here is an overclocked run with my i5 760 before I retire it for Haswell.
i5 760 at 4.0Ghz
R9 290X at 1,110 / 1,350
Your CPU is doing you proud, if I ran my 3970X and a 290X at the same clocks I don't think I could beat you.
And on the scoreboard.
I saw that, I asked if even with a 1440p monitor it should be set to 1080. Anyway I did heres my results.
So to improve i should overclock my cpu, going to see what my old cpu overclock settings were and re test.
If the above is with the CPU and GPUs at stock then it is a par score. To improve your score you need to aim for something better than 4.5 on the CPU and also overclock the GPUs.

Finally managed to get 1300mhz stable & slight increase in score

Will be getting drowned once the TJ07 is sorted, only got the one today.
But, I never like seeing cards on their own
I have got to leave the xmas spirit alone long enough to get to work on my build too.
There is free third party software on the internet that will open the *.tga files. Another way of doing it is to use fraps to take a pic at the end.
I know there's more left in it but am pooped been at it all day
