Hey guys,

I installed Vista on my new machine the other day.. only problem is there isnt a driver for my graphics card that is compatible with Vista!

I've tried to install xp-64(and normal xp) but got stuck when it came to the "Windows cannot install because there is a newer version already installed".

I need a way around this..

Anyway of getting Vista off so I can install XP?

I really need help guys,

Thanks in advance :(

use bootdisks or boot from a xp cd that is bootable, format the partition and then install xp on the fresh partition?

eg:

boot-camp-choose-partition.gif

You should be able to just boot your windows xp cd and install using that.

Otherwise, use a boot disk, boot into it and format.

Or get a linux livecd and kill the partitions from there then reinstall xp.

Try change it so your only option is boot from cd. If that fails it won't boot at all and means your cd is not bootable.

www.bootdisk.com

look for the makeboot.exe or whatever it is for xp home or pro w/e you have

easiest to use this and you need 4 floppy disks

will get you to the screen you need to wipe your partitions
