...but being in the EU and allowing all any Tom, Dick and Harry free entry is a good thing. Or at least that's what the government says anyway.
 
Rubbish - you could stop immigration completely and these people would still get in. Don't you grasp the fact that they don't play by the rules? They're also all wanted by their home countries on EU arrest warrants, which is surely a good thing.

yeah, but if we stop imigration, they would'nt be here in the first place, and would be more difficult for them to get in. BNP is the answer lol

I don't follow. These men are criminals - agreed? These men therefore are not what you might call law abiding citizens - agreed? These men have arrest warrants issued for them in their home countries - agreed? So now we've got the obvious out the way what makes you think that no immigration would put them off entering the country illegally regardless?

Please tell me you're not really bemoaning a lack of British criminals? I don't give a monkeys what nationality the person robbing or assaulting me is, at that point in time it is the least of my concerns - "ah a good old fashioned British crook, it makes my heart swell with pride".

Okay, so let's say we stop immigration. What happens if I want to bring my Canadian partner over here so that we can raise a family here, in England? I won't be allowed to? Because of some criminals who obviously have no regard for rules or regulations?

Sounds like a stupid reason to stop immigration. I'm not saying let them all in, but closing our shores to all non-Britons is short-sighted.
