United States Grand Prix 2013, Austin - Race 18/19

Whichever car is significantly out of place will always make more passes. The merc is a bit crap in race pace but on newish tyres it's still the second quickest single lap pace car around.

What happened with Hamilton/his engineer, I was on the phone and missed all the pitstop action.

He was giving Lewis all the wrong information the same as his done for ages...

They've been pretty rubbish all year in general, they've made some very poor calls in strategy, earlier in the year trying to do same stops as the top guys then converting to an extra one WAY WAY to late in the race. I think they are still getting that wrong.

Red Bull are so predictable, always coming on the radio with some emergency to make Vettel's wins seem more difficult/impressive than they actually are. Horner will probably say something like "it's amazing how you brought that home" when he eventually wins by 30secs.

Glad I didn't buy this race and just watched it via a stream. Close the window now, waste of bandwidth.

Patiently waiting for 2014 and hoping it restores some sort of competitive balance, currently it's just a borefest and has been since the halfway point in the season.

Never felt this way before with F1, as someone who follows all the sessions and have done for the past 10+ years it's kinda sad that I'm feeling this way with the one sport that I've followed so avidly.

vettels engineer deserves an award for his attempts at making this tense.

vettel your car and tires are fine.

So people think highly of him they just try to hard to make it sound difficult when they knew before this race it was a vettel win by default.
