United States Grand Prix 2015, Austin - Race 16/19

Vettel still P2 in the WDC makes me happy, properly deserved this year. He's had one (two) bad race(s) - Bahrain, and Belgium which wasn't his fault, kinda.

If Rosberg gets P2 in the WDC I won't be very happy, Vettel deserves it more - Verstappen has had a stunning year minus Monaco too.

Lauda and Wolff smirking with Rosbergs mistake tells you everything about that team.
I do wonder in a years time who they will put in next to him, I think Nico's attitude shows he isn't a Barichello or Massa but in reality he isn't ruthless when (not often) he does get chance to be next to Lewis. So it boils down to will he stay to get a few wins or jump ship - can't see their is much to jump to. Would Merc want to put someone like Ricciardo or Verstapen in the car next to Lewis cos they are very quick and take no prisoners.

Good race and why? - because mixed conditions takes the grip and dominance away. Always makes it more of a lottery. Cheering for JB more than anything. He still likes to race and have a go just wish they had a better engine.

Kimi and Button on the radio are quality. Alonso makes me chuckle he just doesn't give a monkeys atm.

It tells you nothing about the team, you're watching a FIA soap opera, Brundle said he saw them shaking their heads when he made the mistake, the FIA can show a replay of them right then from any point of the race to paint whatever picture they want to.

The big problem with Rosberg is he always thinks "he wuz robbed" when in fact he was beaten on the track by a better driver. It's part of his delusion that he's a champion level talent. I won't be surprised if next year's title fight is between Vettel and Hamilton, who have both developed some real maturity (along with their natural speed) in their driving over the last few years - something Rosberg has failed to do.

Verstappen, that would be amazing, he'd give as good as he gets and I think within a couple of years really give Hamilton a fight for the title, a genuine fight unlike Rosberg.

Verstappen was amazing today fighting the Ferrari's, might have got himself a podium if the team pitted him for tires as well.

In previous races he has said that a single incident has cost him the race, Hamilton is just better than him, there is no shame in that.

Bit pointless getting grumpy about what happened at turn 1 fact was he was leading the race with about 7 laps to go, can't be in a much better position than that!

I'm hardly irate, never noticed the numbers before. But point stands, he handed out Vets hat as well. Vet didn't chuck it at him. Sore loser like normal.

Righto, as you always are.

Rofl, sore much.

Er, no.

Fact is, neither of us know whether he was rubbing it in or not. It's a simple matter of opinion, but as usual, your opinion can be the only correct one.

Saying that Vettel didn't chuck his hat at him isn't proof of anything. His relationship and situation with Vettel is vastly different.

Anyway... It was only a bit of fun, but it's always srs bsns up in here.

Not a Hamilton fan at all but it's pretty special to see a driver win 3 world titles. I hope Red bull, Ferrari and Williams are closer next year we can't have 3 years of total dominance
