Sitting here waiting for something to happen it occurred to me that Red Bull getting Honda engines might be really good for F1.

It's going to chuck a big chunk of cash at the development of the engine but more importantly bring a lot of pressure/focus from Red Bull as well.

The best bit would be if it was super competitive, because then you would have a fantastic title battle between two equally supported teams, with Mercedes and Ferrari in the mix as well.

Given how Renault have struggled, I wouldn't suddenly expect Honda to improve in their second year.

Would they allow spectators to come back for only part of the day tomorrow?

Problem is that there will be race day tickets as well.

The inputs of Mclaren and Red Bull with Honda could do good things to try and take it to Merc and Ferrari. I think its the best bet for both but will take a few seasons.

It's good that the teams are trying to keep the spectators entertained.

Sauber in particular made a damn good effort.

I do think that one of the celebs there should be given one of the PA microphones and permissions to find and interview people for those who actually managed to get to the track.
