Turned into a pretty decent race in the end, albeit with an inevitable outcome. I do worry that we are going to see a repeat of Mercedes one team dominance. It took Red Bull until the final season of the previous regs to properly challenge and I feel like history will repeat itself.

Merc are in an awkward position. If they stick with the current philosophy they risk going down a dead end of sorts but if they change it then they will always be playing catchup. Ferrari also can't be relied upon to outperform Red Bull as a team. It's going to be Verstappen domination for the foreseeable future imo.

Hamilton is only going to get older and slower, Russell does not look near Verstappen's level yet, Norris seems like he has the natural talent but gives the impression that he's not got the same hunger as Verstappen and some others. Leclerc could win titles but that relies on Ferrari not being Ferrari.

From the look of Tim Cook, is he a Disney Audio-Aanamatronic from the 60's that's just been given a new skin?

The amount of movement seemed about right for one of the A-1 series of figures.

I went with 6/10. Other than the 15 lap stint towards the end, it was quite a dull race with not much going on.

I switched off as soon as the cars got into Parc Ferme. Didn't fancy putting myself through that. Chris Kamara just got a question wrong on 'who wants to be a milluionaire. "Which of the following countries have not produced a F1 world champion since 2000: A- Finland. B - Spain. C -Netherlands. D. Brazil'

He went with Finland

For a former race winning driver, Marco seems completely incapable of spraying Ferrari sparkling wine.

But I suppose at his age, just managing to get a dribble out is an achievement...
