** UNLEASH THE KRAKEN **

Great work rjkoneill and OcUK team, mine has turned up this morning, will be looking at AIO coolers soon(tm). Looking to fit my H20 920 to the R9 290 and replace it with a newer AIO for the i7.

Well found a cheap H55 today and have now fitted it to the R9 290 in a somewhat DIY fashion in my Corsair Carbide 300R.

Did not use the H2O 920 in the end as it would have been a struggle to fit it into the gap between the HHD bays and Optical drive bays.

Fan of the H55 fitted on the inner most surface of the Rad and the Rad is then fixed to the case using two thumb screws, the rad is at a slight angle, this has also allowed me to fit a Corsair SP 120 on the outside of the case forcing air onto the rad. It is not exact but it does the job, temps with all fans at max, give GPU @ 46'c, VRM 1 @ 2 = 61-62'c.

At turbo fan setting, the GPU is at 68'c, VRM 1 tops out at 81'c and VRM 2 @ 68'c.

This was during Valley benchmark.

Have some Heatsinks so may strip it all out and fit these in the next couple of months, however the R9 290 is a hell of a lot quieter now :)

STILL don't have these in when your competitors have

Its £3.95, just order from somewhere else! I'm sure even OcUK won't mind you buying a little square of copper for four quid elsewhere. :p

Or do you want to make use of OcUK's superb customer service when your little square of copper goes wrong and needs RMA'ing? :D

No, my EP3 was very loud and did in fact used to go BWAAHH...
I sold it the other week and now have an S2000 after wanting one for 10+ years.

:D

yeah, my bad. had a busy week at OcUK this week setting up Monsoon and Silverstone so have been off the forums in work time.

its a 2 slot cooler but there isnt much room in it.

just fitted mine tonight, theres a part of me that thinks it was really fiddly to install and has anyone else had the thumbscrews that they include for fitting have stripped heads. On the plus side much much quieter now. idle temps arent much lower but its load where this thing shows its worth barely reaches above 65c with a 1100 core clock, will have to start testing overclocks 2moro.

tried the kraken g10 on my 760gtx... my card is a bit too small for the cooler! the fan is blowing on nothing, could even get away with refitting the stock fan with extension plate.
all that said, it has dropped the temps no end, doubt i will stick with it for this card though.

Reviews say it's a 2.5 slot cooler.

EDIT: Taken from a review - please look how the metal shroud will cover the 3rd pci-e slot regardless of fan/aio watercooler.
