erm i just decided to disable the masked vertex unit, but wheni realoaded the pc, the thresholds for the clocks were still very low, the mas it will let me reach is 300/600

Ive sorted my clocks and set them to 414/900, and ran 3Dmark05 but i only got a score of 953, whats going on?

Bit odd... as suggested, you should be hitting the 4,000 mark with 3DMark05 being ran at 1024x768 resolution.

My "Leadtek GeForce 6800LE 128MB" got 4091 at 385/800 on AthlonXP 2600+, 1GB RAM. Are you sure you're running 3DMark05 and not 06 by mistake?

Ensure you've got a clean set of drivers installed, and try performing the test after a reboot.

My leadtek 6800nu (same card as yours) used to get 4700 in 3dmark 05, boviously heavily clocked, im not being funny but are you sure you downloaded 3dmark 05 and not 3dmark 06?

Have you installed your pc properly? i.e Motherboard drivers first then display?

i definitly downloaded 05 and yer i put the motherboard drivers on first, would that be an issue though?

yeah ofcourse it would be, you need to install the motherboard drives then the graphics drivers, I would suggest a reinstall of your whole pc - and dont mess with rivatuner and overclocking because im not sure you know what your doing - and something your doing is very wrong - best to figure out what your doing on this card rather than a brand new 7900gtx.

install windows - install motherboard drives, install displayer drivers.
