Was there any reason you got them from Camskill? Tyre leader has them for £565 inc delivery.

EDIT: Just seen, Camskill are only £554inc del. How did you pay £606?!

At what size? I'm running CSL sizes. 265/30 rear and 235/35 fronts.

I didn't say it wasn't performance orientated. I said I was looking for something more performance orientated.

They have been excellent on the whole, but they sometimes felt a little soft. I've read a few similar subjective opinions alluding to the same from owners of my car, whereas the Sport Contact seem to be highly regarded for their feel and feedback. So I thought it might be worth giving them a try at my next change.

I know feel is entirely subjective and that it might make no difference, but I don't mind trying a different brand to see if it does make a marginal improvement. Either way, I'm still choosing between two highly regarded premium tyres, it's not like I'm considering taking a punt on some untried budget crap for a laugh.

Fits as normally as they do on the CSL wheels. The rear CSL alloys are the same size (19x9.5) as standard 19s, the front are .5 wider at 8.5 whereas standard front 19s at 8. No oversized look/fit at mostly due to the lower profile.

I was annoyed this morning at the constant crashing around so I finally JFDId it and went and had CSC6s fitted. £600 inc fitting from Wembley Tyres for 225/35/19 and 255/20/19.

COMPLETELY transformed the ride and noise levels in the cabin, it is how the car should feel when cruising and the noise levels are right down and way way more acceptable.

I hesitated because the RE050As on the back still had 50%ish remaining and the fronts are more like 80%+. I kept the fronts but I couldn't get the rears in so I binned them. I'll be putting the fronts on ebay at some point which will go some way towards undoing the extra expense... Worth it though!
 
Looking forward to seeing how the CS6s handle on mine now :d All shipped. Fitting on tuesday. £15 per wheel at my local indy :cool:
 
Am I imaging it or are the CSC6s super lightweight? I've had uhp tyres from Goodyear, Michelin, Vredestein and Dunlop and never have I picked up such a light tyre before. Could throw them into the air one handed.

Getting them fitted Tuesday.
 
A 535 on 17s!? Sounds like one of those weird low spec SE ones that were kicking around. Not sure that would be my choice. But anyway in this size you are limited to mainly touring tyres, try Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance.

It's a slihhtly strange spec, soft close doors, automatic tailgate, pro nav, metallic paint and that's about it. It's up for 21k ish. What would be your recommendation? Preferably under 25k, 530d performance minimum.

I would appreciate your opinion!
 
Actually that one seems ok, everything else you really need is standard fit.

There were a bunch of them with literally no kit at all and I was worried it was one of those!

You had me worried :)
He's wanting the biege leather which has made the search somewhat more difficult! He's already said to me that if he thinks the wheels look too small on person he'll make them the winter set and he'll buy some others for the rest of the time.
