unreal tournament

I still play UT2K4, i wont even go near UT3 anymore, it was an absolute shocker of a PC game, espically if you have played the series, EPIC made that game for a console and ported it out, ruined it completely, and from what i can tell, it wasn't that big of a hit on the consoles either.

Anyone want to make a UT night a regular thing? Maybe not weekly, but it is a lot of fun. I'm going to be on this evening for a bit of practice, god knows I need it

Will be an hour or two, dinner yet to eat :) Is the Linux server open source or do you need another game? I could host a dedi at work

I've got a couple of dedicated servers that can be used, just join #sasclan on irc and use the !add command to join up. Normally have it set to 2on2 but can easily set to 1on1 or 4on4.

UT3 was released in a shocking condition. By the time they had it patched up with all the major issues addressed, approximately 6 - 9 months later, the game was much much better.

In my opinion, UT3 offers the best gameplay of the series from a competetive FPS aspect. I love the game, and it has been my most played game for the last 3+ years. I can understand why a lot of the 2K4 crowd were p.o'd at it, but think its a damn shame that it did not get the recognition it so rightly deserves.
