The only time I've ever wrote that many pages was for a programming assignment :p Majority of it was screenshots and print out of code though ;)

Oooo, do tell!:D

not much to tell really... cops pulled me over (walking... not driving), assertained that i'd had a bit to drink and thought that hospital was the place to be. Pfft i'm a hardcore experianced alkie, i know when im drunk enough to warrant hospital.

Put your pen down, step away from the keyboard, go to sleep and then wake up and realise you couldn't run away from your big 30,000 word lie! :p

I was exactly the same, none of my assignment recieved the proof reading they required. And don't under estimate how long it takes to print the damn thing out and add a contents page! Used to feel so rough the next morning.

In my A2 class we had the choice of doing coursework OR an extra exam. Obviously I opted for the exam option since I'm one of those people that also leaves everything 'till the last minute.

I remember when i did my A2 Business coursework a few years ago and faced a similar assignment.

Ours however worked a little bit differently: Spend the year writing up a huge plan of all the sections that needed to be covered. This came to around 40-50 or so pages, and around 20k in word length. Then at the end of the year, rewrite all of the essay for a final submission in 15 hours, spread out over 4 days. Whatever is written in this timeframe is your final submission.

I found copying the printed version of my essay was simply to slow, as the constant need to look back and forth grated on me. Instead, i just improvised a little with the wording as it came to me to make it all flow a little bit more than my printed essay did. This added in quite a few extra words (loads of connectives!) and by the end, i wrote just under 22k words.

The horrifiying part of it all is that some people did more than i did, although i think the higest word count was around 25k.

Plus we also had another half to the business course which had its own pieces of coursework to complete over the final year, although we didnt have to rewrite this again thankfully. Still, it adds another 10k onto the total wordcount for coursework if you want to think of it that way.

I think 50k is a little hard to comprehend unless the teaching and student are working in perfect sync every lesson for the entire year, but i understand the pressure with this course to write as much as possible.

Most depressing thing of all was getting a D by the end. :D

Why do people lie on the internet.

Plus if he cant do a simple college assignment what chance does he have at Uni with all the distractions, some people simply don't deserve an education.
