Update: building and upgrading pc

the manual didnt talk about the bracket, on every video ive seen there are pre existing holes which you can just slot the bracket into. but in this case there are no holes whatsoever that surround the backplate.

The two black plastic bits with hooks top and bottom of the socket are pre installed in to the back plate just remove them.

oh great, ive done all of that, im just stuck on all of the wires now. been sat here for 9 hours lol

its my first for it and i did make a few errors, ive taken a few breaks but i would say i am abit slow and take a while to process things

nope i am useless at this, i doubt ive done it right im still stuck. im on the verge of giving up

no tutorial videos are really helpful. they rush ahead a lot and i am so lost ive been at it all day

Start a fresh tomorrow and follow a video step by step , pausing the video until you have finished that step then moving on to the next.

i did everything im just on the box where you attach all of the wires to the motherboard. im completely lost with it, ill follow your video tomorrow snd hopefully i get it up and running. thanks a lot

Don't doubt yourself and take your time.

people here are always happy to help and YT has loads of videos if you get stuck or unsure

pc is all built and everything is good. its just the performance settings on certain games where its very choppy etc. would you recommend anything to fix this?

Cool.

Enable far or less in game option.

Lower the detail in game or resolution to see if the game is smoother.

Download MSI afterburner to monitor FPS , CPU usage etc and also check the memory is running at correct speed, cpuz software can do that or in the bios.
