Update! Going to an iPhone after 15 years of android

Funny story, my dad, always an Android user, RINSED AND MOCKED!!!! iPhones for all these years, even joked that they were phones for ladies.... Now has an iPhone 15 Pro 
He now says they are the best and iOS beats Android.

What dongle do you have? Most of these third party dongles support both CarPlay wireless and Android Auto wireless. Before the connection is made, on the client app on your car stereo simply click settings and switch it to CarPlay mode as it will be Android Auto at the moment. Then connect your iPhone. Simple as that assuming you have one of those dongles. That's how my Carlinkit dongle works via the AutoKit client app installed on the stereo.
