Updated BIOS for 5700x3d install now no power.

Take the CPU out and make sure you haven't bent any pins.
I'm pretty sure I would get soke sort of power to the board even if ai had bent a pin which I am 99% sure i didn't. I'll check it this weekend and see what I can figure out.

I'm getting so depressed not being on my pc for so long lol.

So it seems I mustn't have had something plugged in properly ( downfalls of an itx case I suppose ).

I took the whole pc apart and tried it with the motherboard, cpu and ram installed while on a box with the psu plugged into it and it powered. So rhat was enough for me to stick it all back in my case again. It is all working fine now apart from the pretty big gap between gpu and gpu hotspot temps.

What I didn't mention when asking for advice was pretty important but I wanted advice as if I didn't cause a problem with my actions.
After getting it all setup I decided I needed a longer tube from my cpu to radiator and as far as I was aware it was empty so unscrewed the tube and cooling gushed out all over the motherboard. I soaked it up best I could with kitchen roll and (after remembering i saw the missus' hairdryer in the bedroom) then stuck a hair dryer on it for a few minutes. I thought I had killed my whole pc because I'd overheated it with the hairdryer and after it looked like everything was dry i sat the pc to one side for a week before trying to power it on and it wouldn't. That's when I googled hairdryer on pc and realised (obvious i know) that i could have killed it. I even used the cryonaut i bpught ages ago on my gpu so had worries about that in my head before it wouldn't power on.
But it is all working fine now... apart from the huge gap between gpu and hotspot temps. I'll sort that if I can next time I can mess with my pc.

So this is happening again now. No idea what has changed. It all worked fine last night.

When I press the power button nothing happens. The only sign of life is the rear I/O audio Jack's have coloured lights on them that light up whenever it's plugged in.
No fans start to spin and stop.
No RGB lights or anything on.
No pump spinning or anything.
No start up splash screen or anything.
I've reset CMOS.
Replacing CMOS battery is out of the question - it's stuck under rear I/O panel in some tape and plug in well out of the way.
I've checked some of the wires and they are all plugged in fine.

It's a time when I was going to be able to squeeze a little more gaming in and now it's not working... I might try taking it all out of the case again but I really can't be arsed doing that once per month lol. I'm thinking a new motherboard is the only thing I can do.

It's worth taking out the case as there maybe a short, but before so disconnect the front panel header for the power button, etc and any non essential usb and try to start the pc by jumping the power button with a screwdriver.

If no look then take it out.
