Updating Firmware On Seagate 7200.10

Does anyone know how to go about updating the firmware on Seagate HD's?

I have 2 320GB 7200.10 SATA drives and one has a firmware of 3.AAC and the other 3.AAE.

I get better performance from the 3.AAE drive when benchmarking and would like to update the other.

Can I save the 3.AAE firmware to a file? Are there any flashing utils out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as I am aware Seagate don't support firmware flashing of consumer drives hence there are no flashing tools or firmware images available from them.

SeaTools for Windows from the SeaGate site has the flashing option

Any idea as to where to get the BIOS from?

No idea on that, sorry.

Perhaps, if you have an old small hard drive you could put a 32bit OS on there to flash?
