Upgrade advice please

Update:

Removed PUMP from CPU but looked ok, reseated

Idle now at 53deg - still seems high to me but may be due to hight TDP

Ran Cinebench R23, max temp 85deg and then quickly back to 53 deg

Is it worth undervolting?

Ok as you probably expected I have more questions :cool:

In the Asrock BIOS I set the memory up as XMP 5600, I thought this a bit weird as there were other choices inc EXPO maybe I should have used that option

Just an update re temps. I installed an app called FanControl. Idle temp now 47deg
