So with xmas approaching i thought id have a look to see what would need upgrading next on my pc.

Recently upgraded with
ATI Radeon HD 6870
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 650W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
and
Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case

Current processor is a AMD phenom II x4 920 processor 2.8 GHz
With 6 GB ram

Was wondering what you guys thought would be the best value for money on upgrades.

Have had a look at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-063-OE&tool=3

Opinions, ideas?
Thanks

It depends on your uses.

Are you going to be Overclocking? If not all you need is the i5 2500 and a Motherboard

If you are overclocking you can get i5 2500k, the motherboard above and an A50 for less than that bundle. Under £300.

Have you got a budget?

Hi I bought this one a few weeks ago:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-080-OE&groupid=43&catid=2053&subcat=2063

I am very pleased with it, also although the product description was listed with a over clock of 4.4ghz it came at 4.6ghz so was pretty lucky. I also changed the ram to 8gb and bought a SSD. Highly recommend it, the only thing I will say is i'm not that happy with the Corsair A50 Cooler if I was you I would see if you could change it for something better.

Looks good.
Question tho, if i were running skyrim and bf3 would i need to overclock/ would it make it a lot better.
And i know that what uve linked is capable of overclocking however being a bit of a noob i not really comfortable tinkering about with it.
Any help appreciated :D

Personaly I would go with a overclocked bundle from ocuk as its covered for 12months and you don't have to bother playing around with it, Unless you go for the cheaper option and see how it runs you could always learn to overclock it if need be. Depends if you can afford to pay the extra for ocuk to do it for you.

Although abit more expensive, would go with the OCUK bundle as Ash mentioned above. Saves having to fuss about (although easy) with the OC yourself if your not 100% confident doing it yourself.

As a few have said, it is very easy to overclock yourself, but if you are happy to pay for someone to do it for you, then do that. It isn't overly expensive, and it will work straight out the box all OK as you say :)
