upgrade from x600

    hi,

    i am looking to upgrade my graphics card, i am willing to spend circa £100. I will be changing from a ati x600 pro guru. Can someone please recommend some, they can be either way of £100 a little :D

    i m not sure on the exact price, but look for 7600s either GS or GTs, they are pretty good, and cheap too

    thanks for the replys, would it be worth me going for a 512mb card or sticking with a 256mb - i only really play Battlefield 2

    stick with 256MB. only at extreme resolutions will 512MB help & the extra ram is not worth the price, imo.

    i dont think you can link to that site, but yeah thats a good card & a good price too. Would be a nice upgrade for you.

    The simple answer is to get a 7600 GT for 117 and overclock it.

    that card will look at the x1600 in disgust :)

    17 quid over gets you a 7600 GT

    nuff said TBH its faster than all cards mentioned.
