Not updated my pc for a while and need some advice if poss.

Here is my current rig:-

i5 - 3470 @ 3.20ghz 3.60ghz
8GB Ram
GTX 650Ti Boost Graphic Card
Windows 7
120 SSD
1.36TB Maxtor HD (SATA)
Gigabyte Mobo

windows rating is 6.9 due to HD Transfer rate

Any advice would be great would be using it for gaming mainly Elder Scrolls Online BF4 etc

Got approx £200 - £250 to spend

For gaming you need a GPU upgrade.

What case+PSU do you have? what resolution do you play games at? What board is it that you have?
 
£250 isn't enough to upgrade everything, so you're going to have to save up more, or pick and choose what you want to update. Looking at the above I'd say weak links are gfx and hard drive, so I'd suggest the following for the biggest noticeable performance gains:

Forget windows rating index. Nio need to get another SSD unless you don't have enough space on your primary drive.

What is the model of the PSU? If you cant find a model, take a picture of the specs written on it and post it.

That £250 would be best spent going toward a GPU or a GPU + PSU if the PSU is a little sketchy.
