Upgrade now or wait?

There was big jump from 5 series to 7 series but a tiny bump to 9 series.

I'd go with 5800x3d, its what I'm planning to do next. Maybe 7 series at a push but that requires a full swap out.

For someone already on AM4, 5700x3D or 5800x3D.
New build, AM5.
The 7800x3D is amazing for games, very easy to cool. I don’t think a future 9000 series x3D would be much better than the 7800x3D is now. At 4K, I don’t see a scenario where it will limit your FPS.
DDR 5 6000 CL30 much more accessible now, and that is the sweet spot for AMD at the moment.
