From what I have been reading these three are the best 290xs

The Asus card comes with a free headset worth £40.

Yeah my other half was telling me about the Vapor-X, I am basicly looking for the best 290x out there which sounds strange because its kind of personal opinion but I always put up a fight before money leaves my wallet ;p.

I have a 290 Vapor-X, it is as fast as the Tri-X 290X I reviewed yet quieter and has zero coil whine.

How does the vapor-x OC?

I have the 290 so cant tell you, but if you look at the core and memory speed as it comes its already the fastest of those two.

just looked at the Tri-X 290X results I got and that did 1180 and 6000MHz while still retaining low'ish volts.

But cant really be compared as the Vapor-X is a custom PCB/design, the Tri-X is reference design with a great cooler.

Yep the Tri-X is one of the best coolers there is up there with the MSI lightning edition

All the reviews are really bad and nothing is special about this ROG MAtrix like on the 7970.
