Fair enough but seems a bit overkill having 2 SSD's purely for games
Fair enough but seems a bit overkill having 2 SSD's purely for games
Mainly for gaming but sometimes do Graphics design
Honestly no you really want your games to be on the SSD if you don't mind waiting 30 seconds longer for your PC to boot up just stick your OS on your 1TB, i never turn my PC off i just put it to sleep, wakes up instantly.
I have all my games on my hdd now and have not noticed any difference in loading times, whatsoever.
I would stick your OS on the ssd and maybe a couple of your favourite games. You could also create a partition on the hdd and transfer all your user files and folders to free up more space on the ssd.
So I am assuming you're saying that the OS would easily cope with 120GB even with updates and such
Well this is what I mean as my Steam games are 39GB and EA games are 28GB and it will surely grow in the coming months. I'm not too bothered of having my software on the SSD as haven't got anything major at the moment until I install my Autodesk gear, but just wanted to make sure that the OS would be fine on the SSD.
I have been mainly toying with the idea with a new case but mainly on looks only which is the HAF X nvidia edition even though i know its not necessary. Would you say my cooler was fine as someone else mentioned about changing it?
I must admit that ive been looking at the 660. I have my previous setup in an old case which was thinking of putting on ebay to help get some cash together
