Upgrade path for 4770k ?

Just wondering what my options will be when I decide to retire my 4770k ?

Going to overclock it this coming week so I'm not looking immediately to upgrade but I'd like to know what choice I have and which chips would be the best upgrade ?

Philosophical question...is it really an upgrade when you replace your platform?

You can set DSR using nvidia control panel. nvidia control panel -> manage 3d settings -> global settings -> DSR factors (tick all of them). Also have a play with DSR smoothness if you want. Personally I don't use it as it messes up UI scaling and I honestly cannot tell the difference between native 1440p and 5K downscaled to 1440p.

I've also never liked the idea of automatic game settings as geforce experience does. Much prefer manually setting things and tweaking as I go until I get the performance I want at the game quality I want. You quickly learn which settings matter the most, and which have more of a CPU or GPU impact. With a 1080 I mostly just set things to high and go from there.
