Hey all,

I have decided to upgrade from my rather old Intel E4500 and 2gb of RAM :o

My motherboards a Asus P5Q.

I'm currently looking at the Intel Q9450, Q6700 or spending a bit more on the Q9550.. Any suggestions?.

As for RAM i'm finding OCUK's DDR2 stock rather limited. :( Could someone recommend me some? :D
Thanks.

oem always makes me think that i ll get returned chip or a bad overclocker with only 1 year warranty

but true, good offer :P

Depends what your using it for and wether or not you overclock.
Internet/office/games you probably wont notice the difference too much depending on the GPU.
CAD/rendering/encoding its noticeable.

Will be using for gaming and some photo editing, And yes i do plan to overclock :)

As for GPU i have a Nvidia 9800gt.

Well then the 9450 is right for you, coupled with a good cooler you can get a good solid overclock.

Ok, Been thinking overnight and this is what i have come up with.

And this RAM (only link i could find that wasnt a competitor.)

Any last suggestions before i hit "buy"? Have around £20 left if need be :p

Thanks.
