Upgrade to a 6 series ati or go for the big upgrade -

Seems in order to get ready for bf3 and some other promising games due soon we'll be upgrading to soon to be outdated gear! New intel ivybridge, ati and nvidia hardware is due early next year. Gahh I just don't know what to do. Maybe buy a refurb gpu to get me by until nvidia refresh? Sandybridge 2500k should be fast enough fir a few years I guess, unless this tri gate cpu's push next gen of games into a new genre.

I reckon it would be worth upgrading to the 6870 as a stop gap until the new series of cards are released, there seems to be a lot of conjecture when we'll see them, some say later this year, others Q1/2 next year. 6870 will be a good enough leap in performance to warrant the upgrade imo, especially with the current ATI deals @Oc'uk!
