If the recent leaks are anything to go by, the 5090 is going to be some sort of dual die gpu, 4 slot and consume upto 1000w with its dual 12vhpwr connector , the internet is wild lol.

Yeah like I said, many may genuinely ened new cases and PSUs and case cooling solutions if they decide a 5090 is on the cards lol.

4 slots.......................

That image floating around showing the 4 slot cooler is no joke either.

I got wrecked waiting for a 3080.

Was a happy man married to a 2070 super. 3080 announced, i sold her for £400 anticipating the 3080 launch.

Launch day, i got nothing as the 3080 stock got gangbanged by scalpers and bots.

Story ends with me living with a 1060 for a few weeks and ending up spending more than double to get a 3090.

Lesson... just wait.
I got a 3070 for MSRP on launch, then decided I wanted a 3080 instead. Returned the 3070 and couldn't get another card for ages... eventually got a very over-priced 3060ti.

It was a horrid moment for gamers.

Yeah i don't want to relive that ever again, it's abit better now as i could live without one of the gpu's since i have quite a few spare now in different projects im working on but if i wanted the top dog or a specific card i would absolutely just wait now.
