Upgrading from 2500k (It's been a while...)

Any ideas when the new Ryzen cpus are due out? Do you think its worth the wait?

We likely get some info about them during CES in January.
Release of Zen2 server CPU should be around that time.
But actual desktop CPU release is likely in late winter to spring, unless AMD has surprise for Intel.
AMD can only win by releasing desktop Zen2s when they're ready and have reasonable stock of them...
Instead of waiting for some "Ryzen 2xxx must have year long cycle" schedule.

Finally going ahead with my purchase as there are a few things on offer. I take it the below mobo and ram should be fine together? Asking as I've heard some people having issues with DDR4 memory.

You can type the model number into the search there. It is a qualified vendor list.

I think the ram should be fine anyway, especially if you can run it at 2800mhz instead (the store reviews state someone couldn't get theres to run at 3000mhz on a b350 board).
