upgrading router for fttc

had a BTOpenreach engineer come out to me today. had issues with o2 over the weekend, so an appointment was made. 10/10 for O2 dealing with this. My line has been fixed and now is double what i was getting before... now i'm getting 11.2mbps.. woo hoo!!
there was a lot of interference on my line,, but the engineer tested afterwards and on one of the tests out of 100. my line scored 85.. that's the highest he has ever seen. !! woo hoo !!

now i'm not that bothered about fttc.. although the engineer did help me out about linebonding.. its what the old isdn was..

Line bonding on IDSN allowed you to combine the 2 64Kbit channels into a single 128Kbit channel for data. This was back in the days of 56Kbit analogue modems.

Modern line bonding involves two analogue phone lines (and two line rentals) with ADSL running over both of them.

i'm just so much happier now, anyway!! i'm using my new dgn2200 now and the wifi is stronger now.
