You no longer need to take a day off work or wait at home for your Overclockers UK delivery! UPS Access Point is a next working day service delivering to local stores or petrol stations. You simply collect from your chosen Access Point. With many open during evenings and weekends, you can pick up your parcel when it suits you!

Here is a nice little picture to demonstrate as to how it works:

UPS Access Point:

- UPS Access Points offer a convenient alternative to home delivery.
- You can collect your parcel from a UPS Access Point location chosen by you and at a time that fits your daily routine.
- Locations include newsagents, petrol stations and convenience stores.
- UPS Access Points offer a broad range of opening hours (e.g. early in the morning, late in the evening, during the weekend).
- You have 10 calendar days to collect your parcel at the chosen UPS Access Point. After the 10th day, your parcel will be sent back to Overclockers UK.

Collecting your parcel at an Access Point:

- Please bring with you a proof of your identity
Government – issued photo ID – driver’s license, passport, foreign national or military ID OR any other photo ID containing your full name, along with one of the following documents containing your full name: Utility/phone bill, council tax bill, wage slip, bank statement.
- If someone else is collecting on your behalf, he or she needs to bring your photo ID based on above criteria, as well as show his or her own government-issued photo ID. The UPS Access Point™ will record their signature, name, type of ID presented and the number of the ID on a PDA device for record purposes.
- Ask for the UPS parcel by your name.

Enjoy! :)

Thank you Cosimo, and wndzr I think there is a limit to what can be sent. This is recommended for normal sized orders. For example systems would be sent via DPD still. :)

£8? Not a chance!

It is actually a slightly cheaper service than DPD.

However if you are a forum member do not forget you have an option for FREE delivery using Royal Mail 1st Class or DPD Next Day service. :)

*Edit* We are looking to change it so UPS and DPD are available as free shipping options for our forum members.

Do UPS provide tracking numbers for this? I haven't received anything from OcUK to figure out where in the delivery chain my order is.

You would be emailed a tracking number when the order has been dispatched. :)

What is your order number?

It is being delivered to the Access Point today, if you check your emails there should be a tracking number there. (If not please message me in the CS forum and I can provide it for you there).

Where it says home shipping address please can you provide me a screenshot and post it in the Customer Service section here please:

Thanks. :)

You need to select the shop you want it delivering too, otherwise the parcel will not get to you, as they have no idea which shop it needs to be delivered to. :)

Couldn't they just deliver a parcel to EVERY access point - then I could decide later where to collect from, depending on if I'm at work, home, visiting friends, on holiday etc.

PS I saw the title and thought someone had combined an Uninterruptible Power Supply and a Wireless Access Point.

On the whole, I think the parcel delivery/collection is a better idea, even if they only deliver to one place.

They have thousands of access points, if you are willing to buy a product from us thousands of times, and have them delivered to the different thousands of access points. :p

And then collect them all. ;)

be warned, if you live in essex, some of my smaller collection points for hermes and collect plus etc have moaned and are refusing to accept the larger boxes due to storage. not sure if it's for ups but i had an annoyed shop owner after i got some stuff of the members market.

It is for small items only. It isn't for bulk orders. :)

UPS delivery takes place during the weekdays, so it would be on Monday and not Saturday unfortunately.
