Urban Dead (Browser based zombie apocalypse)

When ever for me to.

Ive got 22AP left at the moment, im saving that to help get the people revived at Salopia Row.

Whats the quickest way of building up xp so I can get free run, I spend most of my time trying to find a building to get in to before I run out of AP's

If you're in and around Darvall Heights it's pretty easy to gain XP. I've jumped from level 1.5 to 3 in a couple of days. I was floundering around lost and bewildered when I first started. I'm still learning the ropes but the following has worked well for me.

I set my home point to St Isidore's Church, which is kept secure but is enough for you to enter when running low on AP. Then, building up 20 or more AP I nipped out and whacked a few zombies and dived for cover at the church before I ran out of AP. It'll take a while to build up XP as you'll miss a lot especially if you don't have a fireaxe and the skill, hand to hand combat helps even more. I now have a 40% chance to smack a zombie with my axe which has really boosted my XP. Once you get free-running you'll be able to run to Latrobe and the surroundings which are only 2 AP away and there are always plenty of zombies to beat on.

The first few levels in this game are tough.

How about tomorrow night (Wednesday 14th) 8pm?

That should give everyone enough time for AP to build allowing for defending of larobe as well.

It might be worth those signing up for the strike to choose what their role will be so we don't have people with toolboxes and construction using up all their AP killing zeds.

Its probably not worth trying to take on the swarm outside. We wont be able to kill them all and we'll end up leaving ourselves too weak too take the mall. As long as we can keep the cades intact long enough for everyone to be in position, we still have a chance of success.

I'm conserving my ammo and my AP for when we make the jump into Caiger.

Anyone in Latrobe have some FAKs? I've been revived, but I'm infected and down to about 27 HP.

Regarding ruined buildings that are barricaded - it's a zed tactic called a pinata. A zed gets inside, gets revived, barricades the building as much as possible, gets killed, and ruins it with the barricades heavy. Best way to lower barricades for a Survivor is using a crowbar.

We've got a VERY good meatshield in Latrobe at the moment - but you're right about us needing supplies. We need to, at the very least, reclaim and repair one corner of Caiger so that we can stock up from the gun store, even if it's only temporary.

Anyone have Melee Combat and a crowbar?

EDIT: According to Max1138 of the CMS, he found Latrobe repaired and barricaded with Killion inside. So either Killion took it, or someone we don't know took it. In either case, it looks like it wasn't one of us who attacked Latrobe.

If it wasn't already apparent, most of the zeds in the area have converged on Latrobe. They know we're there, and they don't like it. If they get organized and plan an attack for a specific time, they'll bring down the 'cades in seconds.

As far as what time is good for me, any time, really. I don't have a set schedule at the moment. If you need to get in touch with me quick, email me at [email protected] - it'll pop up on my phone if I'm not online.

I think we have enough survivors in here to hold the cades. We will have to move on Caiger as soon as we're fighting fit though.

We need to get word out that we're mounting a raid to get support.

Damn it!

If anyone else has one, I'd save it for the mall. I dont think we can last till tomorrow night. The barricades are at QSB and if the zeds attack while were all logged out, were toast.

It's annoying the amount of Zeds who have alts who are clearly just helping the Zeds and not playing the game (like taking out the gennies etc) should make it impossible for survivors to destroy gennies.

Makes me want to create zed alts just to kill Zeds.

I'm all out of AP and useless til morning, will keep an eye on the thread though and if the barricades start coming down I will log in to help repair a little.
