I don't really see noise till 4000 really, Even then you need to put the contrast up to show it.. D700 here.

Great images, love the black and white NYC ones. Did you capture them in colour and convert them?

The D700 like many nikon DSLR tends to show a more uniform grain rather than chrominance noise, colour blotches and colour bands like other cameras, at least until sane ISO levels.

My D70 was especially pleasant I though, I would sometimes purposely push to ISO 800 to add some natural looking grain.
