I tried the repair option, however this didn't seem to work. When it ran I checked the log that it created and it said that it have completed successfully. It mentioned something about a missing partition table, etc. as the problem. It would restart and it ended up giving me the option to repair again, which I tried again. I then tried booting without the Win 7 disc, but still no joy - it still gave the Boot disc error.
At the end of the day I ended up reinstalling, which thankfully is quite quick and painless with Windows 7.
