Urgent help for Vertagear S-Line SL2000

ahh mate i just literally sold my chair yesterday for 150 and made a huge loss, i thought this chair was amazing, but that is just for looks and nothing else.

Im 6.1 and this chair is way to low for tall people, its literally made for short people, the max height adjustment is way too low so its very uncomfortable, Highest seating position only 40 up to 49 cm which is no good for people with long legs.

The seat is very stiff to, was thinking it would soften up after a few weeks but no, very hard and thin.

I contacted vertagear customer service and they were terrible, I then wanted to buy the AK racing extended gas lift but didn't in case it didn't fit

Now im gonna buy the Nitro Concepts gaming chair that has a Height adjustability of 48 - 57 cm which is great for taller people, amd it looks a stunner in white black or white orange.

Im wondering if i could get a price match so will post to Gibbo.

Ive just been looking at these, and thought the 49 cm height seemed a bit low too (im 6'3), so now thinking of getting the Nitro EVO E220, as i need higher, as the chair ive got now (which is just a leather office jobbie, bought from Staples years ago), only goes to around 49 cm as well.

EDIT:

Im gona get the s300.

To add insult to injury, the gas canister on my sl2000 slowly releases when sitting, so after 20 minutes ive not realised im a foot closer to the floor and wondering why my back aches! lol. I need to mount this thing on stilts if im keeping it long term! Its actually been like this since after the first year of having it. Is this a common issue people find with any gaming chair?

It does serve as a perfect recliner though, where that extra height off the ground really doesn't matter.

If i could advise a 6'2" fella today id certainly suggest stumping up another 100 clams for a chair offering more height adjustment.

Yea, it's common on any chair that uses a gas lift.
You need to buy a new gas lift. They probably aren't expensive. Getting the old gas lift out is troublesome! There are YouTube videos showing you how, but I've never found it easy.

There's an easier option if you always keep your chair at the same height...
Put the chair to the correct height, then cut a piece of pipe (to the correct height), cut down one side, then slip it on to the gas lift. Then the pipe stops the chair from going down!
