Urgent Notice. We would like to inform all customers that our next day delivery service (Monday - Friday) via DPD is still operational and all orders will delivered on time next week.

I must remind you that our support channels are open every weekday from 8.30am - 5.30pm and 9.00am - 5.00pm on Saturdays. If you have any queries or further questions please feel free to contact us.

So that means that my delivery that was supposed to be Friday will be Monday? Curse you Snow! *Shakes Fist at Cloud*

EDIT: When booking a DPD delivery for another item (I've caught Upgrade Fever) the earliest "Next Day" delivery was Thursday. So will the stuff I ordered last Wednesday be coming a week late then? Sorry the phrase "On time next week" is sort of an oxymoron. Could you clarify? I just want to make sure someone's home to sign for it as I really don't want to go all the way to the depot which is at least an hour and a half round trip.

EDIT THE SECOND: It was delivered today (Tuesday 7th) the ONE DAY this week there was nobody home. Just my luck. I've been talking to DPD and a lot of other carriers as part of my job, and it seems the weather has caused a major backlog so even if a parcel arrives at the depot they may not be able to deliver for a couple days.

Ah well they seem to have failed my delivery today :( not even sure if its reached the delivery depot :(

Same here. DPD Tracking states: Awaiting receipt of parcel.

Pity, because the weather in my region has been fine over the last 3 days, so I was hoping for better luck.

Worse luck, I won't be at home tomorrow..:(

Update, just got my order delivered. Tracking was spot on from order placement to delivery. It's just a shame that you cannot see where the vehicle is and roughly what time the delivery will arrive.

When I booked an engineer visit from Miele they told me the slot time within 2 hours and they were there, shame couriers can't do the same. Thanks OC :)

I'm sure DPD were the courier who stated a delivery time for me via the parcel tracking however that was missing on my last order. I assumed it was because of the bad weather last week but maybe it's more permanent. Shame if that's the case.

DPD do give an ETA. They are the only ones who do. It is only Estimated though! (They have always been correct for me!)

DPD Next day delivery......excluding most of scotland, even in the summer.

Ordered from OCUK with my free next day with dpd, and from the bay which was going to be royal mail first class. Royal mail came next day, dpd the day after. Enuf said.

I hope I will my receive mine from DPD tommorow. It was supposed to be today. It said "08 Dec 2010 08:01 West London Your parcel has arrived at the local depot "

I know it's bad weather and all, but I'm a bit annoyed that I'm paying for "Next Day" delivery, and it gets in almost a week after ordering. My other parcel was supposed to arrive today and it hasn't despite being ordered on Sunday (I know that the courier can only pick up on Monday, but still that's 4 days).

It may or may not. My other parcel arrived at my depot a couple of days before it was delivered. There seems to be a big backlog in some places so they cant dispatch the same day they get them.

Mine apparently wasn't delivered because no one was available to sign for it. Funny that, all my flatmates were in and I was watching the road all day. Oh and they left an invisible calling card :D which means I can't now rearrange delivery. Oh well, guess there ain't much I can do with DPD's automated system, which is fanta... Oh wait.

Ordered a SSD yesterday, and it's been dispatched for delivery today, but DPD show "Awaiting receipt of parcel", might get it next week if I'm lucky, lol!

PS, nice location you have there...
