US election 2012

Quite apart from the fact that nobody seemed to know anything about him (has there ever been such a secretive presidential candidate?) Romney just doesn't have what it takes to be POTUS.

He lacks judgement, he lacks experience, he lacks diplomacy, he lacks respect, he lacks compassion, he lacks honesty; in short he lacks all the things people know they can take for granted with Obama. A troubled nation like the USA needs a statesman to guide it through the hard times. Obama is a statesman.

Romney is... something very different. Something inadequate.

LoL!

You are truly insane.

Yeh, you should be. The American people have saved the world from Romney (the old terror) and we should absolutely be 'relieved' that the same president who signed the NDAA and under whom, nations who opposed the dollar were dismantled, among many other 'noble' acts, has won 4 more years in office...

Good god, peoples stupidity infuriates me.

(No I don't support Romney either)

Got a 'sauce' for that, sounds like an interesting read.

Someone **** in your cornflakes?

If you had a choice between Obama and Romney, I'd take Obama, that's why I'm relieved.

Mitt Romney now:

They will never beat Bush v Gore's 200 election with 271 electoral vote win from a 537 votes margin in over 6millions votes cast in Florida.

That's close, last night is almost a landslide, seeing Romney only got 1 swing state out of 7.

Looks like Mitts finally made a speech without insulting anyone....

Very pleased with the news this morning, god knows what would have happened with Mitt got into power.

Whilst a good thing for Americans (The republicans these days seem to be a remarkably intolerant bunch) I don't really see what major difference it will make to us. Their foreign policy is pretty much the same and their economic policy is driven more by external pressures than anything else.

Suppose it means Cameron doesn't have the build relations with a new president, Obama / Cameron seem to get on fine, good news for us IMHO.
