ok my Brother in Law has just got a new laptop which is running W8 all is good with it apart from one thing and thats the USB 3 on it, i have tried 2 drives on it one mine and one his now am not sure if it is a problem at all to be honest, it seems to be very slow for his 3 drive were as mine is pretty fast on both transfer speeds, his only has photos on it but the transfer speeds on it are close to 100Kbs, is it down to the amount of photos on the drive thats slowing it down or could it need formatting again
