Use USB memory pen as a memory unit for 360?

Tried googling this but didn't get a clear answer - basically I want to be stingy and not buy a memory unit for 360 - so could I use a USB pen to back up some data, such as Forza stuff so I could use my cars on a friends 360?

yeah didnt think this was possible otherwise id of used a usb memory stick to get the pro evo option file loaded on to my xbox 360.

This is one thing that I hated about Xbox, that you can write to external media. Or copy stuff directly to the Xbox's HDD like videos and photos.
